Terminal Systems and Maintenance Officers

Gold Coast Airport currently have a number of opportunities available for Terminal Systems and Maintenance Officer’s to join our team.

Working within our Asset Services department, the successful applicants will be required to work as part of our broader terminal team and ensure that out Baggage Handling System is operating in an effective and efficient manner and by assisting and supporting the terminal maintenance team in daily maintenance activities.

We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals. Whilst training will be provided in the use of the baggage handling system, a background or knowledge in building maintenance, and experience working with different IT systems will be highly regarded.

Our business is all about our customers so you understand the importance to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations and thus have a robust customer service ethos. The role will liaise with internal and external stakeholders and contractors therefore you have well developed communication and interpersonal skills.

This role will be required to cover various shifts commencing as early as 4.00 am with finishing times extending to 10.00 pm 365 days a year.

We have a number of full time and part time roles available. Applicants are requested to advise their preference for work type in their cover letters.

The successful candidates will be required to adhere to QAL’s Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP), including undertaking pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing and have the ability to obtain an Airport Security Identification Card (ASIC) to work at the airport.
