* There were an additional 5,252 transit passengers pass through Gold Coast Airport and 6,206 through Townsville Airport in December 2009.
In the calendar year 2009, 66,945 transit passengers passing through Gold Coast Airport and 70,126 transit passengers passing through Townsville Airport, a total of 137,071 transit passengers for the QAL Group.
